November 2010
I think it’s hilarious that the bridges of songs today are almost non existant. They have been reduced to synths, and moaning.
Hmmm…Wow, that’s a tough one. I really try not to look at my past. As good as it was/is, I try not to live in regret. I think as things have gotten good/bad in the past, I try to live in the now, and expect greater things in my future!
Well, besides looking for a place to live…Looking for a place to eat! Trying to stake out what restaurants they have in the area, talk to people to find out the best local cuisine, and what else that is familiar that is nearby. Food is pretty important.
Favourite article of clothing? Oh wow, that’s a tough one…I go through phases on what I like to wear. Currently it’s my jeans. It’s a Marc Ecko Cut & Sew Straight Cut. It fits really good on my thighs, the colour goes with a lot of my outfits, and the best part is the skull insignias on the back pockets and skull decals on the some of the rivets.
Actually I do! It’s my Lucky Brand Underwear! (Seriously, lame I know…) but, it is a boxer brief trunk fit with Four Leaf Clovers all over. I’ll take a picture of them sometime soon.
Oh! I am wearing shoes! It’s a pair of DCs. It has the DC logo diagonally on the side, with it being in black and grey checkerboard, and outlined in red. And yes, they are comfy. :3
Me? I’m doing pretty good actually. I’m just at work (barely working) but I’m enjoying my last week of freedom before my folks come back from South Africa. I havta prepare the house and all before they come back on Saturday.
I was born and raised in Durban, South Africa. It’s a beautiful, quaint, laidback city. But with it being a tourist destination it had it’s problems with things being pricey for the cost of living, and the crime rate.
I currently live in Houston, TX. Do I like it? Yes and No. I love it because I have the best friends anyone could ever have here, and I know this place well enough, and it’s cheaper cost of living. I don’t like it for everything being really far away, the weather, and the people on occasion. Would I rather live somewhere else? A possibility, sure. I like trying out new things, and seeing what the world has to offer me. I lived in Seattle for a year, and loved it! Let’s see where life takes me!
But I’d rather answer your questions! TMI TUESDAY GO!
Whenever there is a outlandish state of opinion or event, or better yet, one that is against my morals and ethics, is that I will NEVER see those people around me, ever?
For example, I live in fucking Texas, and Texas has it’s fair share of Republicans with conservative thoughts and processes. Where are those people? I’m always surrounded by such well mannered people who may even be Republican, but they aren’t extremist or even remotely controversial.
I want to meet up with some gay hating Christians, I want to meet with people that only believe Republican, I want to meet people that are so caught up in their messed up beliefs, but, I never come across it.
They say there are so many of them. Either that’s bullshit, or I just hang around people that fall in the minority.
Birds of a feather, flock together, it seems…
