I NEED IT, ROBYN.

Or Time Machine.

I have an amazingly hilarious vision for a ‘Time Machine’ video. It’s such a sellable song and personally I don’t know why she didn’t go with it.

But Call Your Girlfriend is my favorite off of pt. 3, so I’m happy.

Really, that’s the thing about Time Machine. It’s extremely catchy. Far more so than Dancing On My Own or Indestructable. And Max Martin has produced some really sellable songs over the years, there’s no saying she would hit gold with it. If she pushes the Time Machine single while she is touring with Katy Perry, I think she’d do superbly.

The whole Body Talk series, and the final album, for the short amount of time she put into it, she and Klas Åhlund made (in my opinion) the best pop album of last year. It’s such a shame the American market didn’t care about it. They’d rather fall for Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream (which was a hunk of shit, if you ask me). Well, I only hope that Robyn outdoes Katy Perry when she tours with her. That would be fucking sweet.

“Eight percent of college men have either attempted or successfully raped. Thirty percent say they would rape if they could get away with it. When the wording was changed to “force a woman to have sex,” the number jumped to 58%. Worse still, 83.5% argue that “some women look like they are just asking to be raped.” —

Margo Paine, Ph.D. (Body Wars)

This is what it means when we say that there is such a thing as “rape culture”. It is imperative that we teach men that rape is wrong, no matter what form it takes. If you are having sex with someone without their consent (or with someone who cannot give their consent) - you are a rapist. End of the gods-damned story.

I just threw up in my mouth.

Need to have this for future reference.  I read a couple of studies like this - that once you take the word “rape” out of the question ,the number of men who admit to activities that amount to rape skyrockets.  They all do it, they’re just all pretending they don’t.

this is rape culture

(via razycrandomgirl)

After I got to my college I found out one of the brothers in one of the frats raped a girl. I don’t know if he got kicked out but I’m going to say maybe however all the attention was on the girl got raped. The brothers threw a vat a beer on her and his girlfriend beat her up because she was jealous and said he shouldn’t have been convicted. This is rape culture.

1st best?

Bad Romance. Nothing can hold a candle to that. Well, Paparazzi comes a close 2nd. Telephone was good, just a lot of unnecessary product placement.

1st - Bad Romance
2nd - Paparazzi
3rd - Born This Way
4th - Telephone
5th - Alejandro
6th - Poker Face
7th - Just Dance
8th - Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)

Nope. Well…I’ve done stuff with guys, I haven’t penetrated yet. So I’m not a saint! Hahaha!

top? bottom? versatile?

The day I actually have sex, I’ll let you know for sure. XD

But as of now, I usually display “top” behaviour. I tend to play the moving role.

In response to ofpaperandponies and electronic music. I used to think the same way. "It's just so repetitive and there are no instruments, just noise!" But then I actually gave it a chance and found that there's more than just house and trance. Both of which I don't particularly enjoy because of said repetitiveness. When you think about it, any instrument is just making noise. It's just that physical instruments require a person to play them, whereas electronic music can be made on a laptop's keyboard. I think composition has more to do with whether or not a piece of music is going to be beautiful rather than what sounds are bringing about the beauty. And that's my two cents.

ofpaperandponies replied to your post: I think Bennett would much rather listen to your music library than mine xD He always listens to Electronica…to me it’s just a bunch of, well, electronics! And SO repetitive. But whatever milks your Guernsey, great :D

Haha! Well, the room to work with Electronic music is far greater (with 7-8 minute songs average) hence the repetitiveness. I’m addicted to synths and falsified beats and sounds! It’s like processed Velveeta Cheese! Haha! I dunno, I love it, but when they incorporate real instruments with synths, it’s pretty damn interesting.

Variety is the Spice Of Life?

Well, I’d like to think my taste for music is pretty ecletic, yet mainstream. I’m not really big on indie stuff, though I usually give anything a listen when I can. I listen to almost everything, except R&B, Indie Rock, and most of today’s Emo/Screamo groups. Doesn’t mean I won’t like it immediately, just not as fast, or not as easy.

But my true love is Electronic Music. I’d give up the world for it. If I didn’t have Electronic music, I’d dunno what I do. Yeah, a lot people call me out on it, but I frankly don’t care. Anythuing related with Dance, Trance, Techno, House, Electronic, Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Gabber, Hardcore, Minimal, Breaks, oh the list goes on…

But yeah, I’m gonna put my library on shuffle, and see the first 25 songs what I come up with! Here goes!

1. Beck - Ramona
2. Michelle Branch - If She Only Knew
3. Ke$ha - Cunx Tuesday
4. Kaskade - I Remember (J Majik & Wickaman Remix)
5. Michelle Brance - Hotel Paper
6. Flux Pavillion - Voscillate (Matta Remix)
7. Robyn - Love Kills
8. Rihanna - Rockstar 101
9. Nelly Furtado - One Trick Pony
10. Cosmic Gate - Showtime
11. ATB - Desperate Religion
12. Lady Gaga - Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)
13. La Roux - Armour Love
14. Justice - Phantom Pt. II
15. Madonna - Don’t Tell Me
16. Daft Punk - Tron Legacy End Titles
17. Deadmau5 - Apply Overnight
18. Tiesto - Obsession
19. M.I.A. - World Town
20. Calvin Harris - Worst Day
21. Twisted Whisker - Fucking Cunt
22. The Killers - Show You How
23. Duck Sauce - Barbra Streisand
24. Anamanaguchi - Maki Ya
25. Armin van Buuren - Coming Home

So yes, a lot of embarrassing ones, some good ones, some I don’t even listen to much anymore. But it’s always awesome hearing them again and again!
